Are Koo Bikes still open for business?

Not sure how many here have used them; they're based in Plymouth.
I sent back a Giro Attack Shield to them after they OK'd a warranty claim.
That was 3 months ago. Now they don't answer emails or phone calls....odd....

Their eBay shop was closed, with message saying 'Seller Suspended' couple of weeks ago but they're back on now.0 -

Just had a black Friday email from them - this thread puts me off ordering anything though!0

For a while the main Koo bikes website was shut down, although they were still selling on Ebay.
Now the website is back up, but how solvent they are is anyone's guess.
I know some staff have now left.
Basically, they have defrauded me out of £150, the value of a Giro Air Attack, which they have effectively stolen from me, as it is in their possession but they refuse to communicate with me.
There are several other reviews from people out there that have been scammed so steer well clear.0 -
Bernie hopefully you paid by PayPal or credit card if so not a problem, just put a claim in.
I bought it quite a while ago, and had returned it under warranty replacement as the shell had started to delaminate.
Not sure how I stand on that one vis a vis the credit card company.0 -

Sorry to hear this if it's true, on all counts, bought several items off them in the past, and had very good service, including a solid oak bike stand - used to have quite good discount codes floating around too.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Having contacted the importer, it seems they issued Koo with a refund many months ago.
Koo decided to keep the cash and blank me.
So small claims court it is then.0 -
