News is really thin on the ground today. Headline today is that George Clooney is visiting a cafe! Whatever next?Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0

Morning all,
Traditional Thursday morning hangover is being 'enjoyed' here. Stopped for a short coffee on the way in then had a slow ride through the park. Took it easy and enjoyed the scenery, managed not to hit any deer which is always a plus. Out tonight to one of the bosses retirement do, free bar is a plus. Early start tomorrow for a day at the NEC is not so good.0 -
Day off! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
Bit of coffee drinking, hound walking, coffee drinking, eating, sprog picking up then a weights sesh and sleep. Lush.
May even do some work on The Might Merckx Mobile. Then again may just look at it and drink some coffee. Deffo bit of garage re-arrangement to accommodate TMMM and The Mighty Cadex on the viewing wall.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Morning early shirkers
Quick off the mark weren't you Flaneur?!
Today i'll be mowstly watching people of Irish Origin fly past the window as well as various bits of assorted building parts.
Have to go and take the new child seats back as there has been a product recall  Which has piddled on my attempt at Total Shirking*.
I thought that not being hit by a deer was a plus, not the other way around. Maybe you should fit some Bull bars to the bike.

Was up at 5:30 Pinna, quick gym and run, didn't want to be too eager but I wasn't going to be second/last again, even if he does have time difference and retirement for an advantage.
nearly bought some crud armour, then thought I'd wait for black friday0 -

CRC have a black Friday sale, I got the email.
You're not going down the assisted uplift DH crudder route are you?

You have health Pinno?
Some. In between coughing and antibiotics, I actually go out cycling. This weather is driving me up the wall. Might even go on the rollers or go for a swim. That's how bad it is.
I will be for my mates stag, but otherwise no, I can pedal uphill a few times a day.
I hate riding on the flat. Glad I don't live in Norfolk.
Hoping the POC air kit comes on offer, otherwise I'll sort it at Christmas at retail.
You've not gone down the Seano route have you?
Just went on flea bay on account of a front light going West when attempting to bunny hop a speed bump last Friday night with not enough speed/pull to clear it. £22 for a complete Smart Lunar 35 lux set incl. delivery
The Smart Lunar is excellent for what they are. I have 2 on the front, 2 one the rear, one flashing. I will carry a couple of 'spare' C size batteries to chuck at some plebs who have picked up on my night loop route. 3 silly 4rses playing chicken with me and 1 came very close to a full on collision. He gave me some abuse and I quietly turned around and pedalled back towards him and asked him if he was extraordinarily f*cking stupid very loudly and aggressively. He ran off.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Apart from that, it's out for a beer in Bromley tonight. May take the hound as 'bait' :P"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Flanman you are right, the are superb conversation starters but no competition."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Some time ago, I was with my Spaniel in a local village Port, throwing a stick in the sea for him. As I sat there on this terraced curved concrete tidal wall, a young lady with her Westie on a lead approached. The woman was pretty classy looking, walking with one foot in front of the other like she was walking on a train rail - you know the type and the lead for the dog was held with a straight arm at a perfect right angle to the body, a little wiggle in her step. What a picture and I was rubbing my metaphorical hands at the prospect of a conversation initialised by ownership of said dog: The handsome basket who got more attention than me.
'Mate' went haring off towards the Westie and plonked his nose right up the rear of Westie's bum as she turned to run away, wrenching the lead out of her owners hand and trying her best to escape the liver and white 'monster' who could not resist the short, white canine who was obviously 'sniffing proper'.
Mate chased Westie with ease all around the harbour, along the street and back in a 3/4 mile loop, the Westie's legs a blur and my Spaniel looking for all the world like a dressage Horse. All the while, distraught female clutching the lead in her hand, white knuckled, is screaming at me and pleading to her 'fluffy' to come back, jigging nervously on the spot, like a Stork with bent legs and an irritating case of fleas.
'Fluffy' did find her way back, tongue hanging out as red as a piece of liver sticking out of a ball of sweat saturated white fluff into the owners arms. Mate responded with jumping up at the Westie now safely in her owners arms whilst said owner flapped at Mate with her arm, trying her best to make contact with him. She was visibly angry but too dappy and badly coordinated enough to get any purchase on Mate. I spent the whole time in hysterics with her antics, especially the poor attempts at trying to inflict punishment on my dog whilst holding her dog, just made me laugh even more.
Womanising fail but this was totally offset by the proceedings.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
