Hi

Just wondering if anyone has some recommended places to hire road bikes in the French Alps. I will be staying in Les deux alpes, but will have a car so happy to travel to pick up bikes.

If you have a car, probably the best place is Bourg D'Oisans at the foot of Alpe D'Huez. There is a few places in the main town that do bikes.

I have bought clothing but not hired from this shop but it was a nice shop.

There are a couple of places in Les Deux Alpes that have road bikes for hire. You'll see them if you take a wander down the main drag. As long as you are not exceptionally tall (60cm +) there will be something there for you.

I have hired from this place. Spesh Roubaix I think, a couple of years ago. It's a good shop, they have lots of bikes and the one I hired was in good nick. Best to book in advance.
