Busy day today. Dad's taxi for Stropteen. Been to the Pet shop to get Muttley a new crate as he is turning out to be a bit bigger than expected. Took hound for a walk and got soaked so we are both drying out in the kitchen while Strifey is hosting a school fundraising meeting - seems to be more interesting than paid work :roll:

Wet ride on my cx bike to go and pick the car up
Cars have been given a quick wash and now ready for a swim. Later is fireworks at the wife's uncles with his car collection to drool over, whilst drinking beer and eating pies

Fettled the bikes to within an inch of their lives and still not finished. Swapping finishing kit from one to another is easier said than done.
Hoping to have time for a windsurf but isn't gonna happen so collecting all my kit for a trip to Cornwall later this month. No doubt after the swell and wind has buggered off.

Slow start was followed by not doing too much. Unfortunately I eventually succumbed and have painted a couple of door frames. That was so exhausting I've had to sit down with a cup of tea. Later fireworks and booze at a mates place.0

Bah. Wet but did get out on the bike last night for an hour and a half, so makes looking at the rain a little easier.
Might go back to having 'fun' in road general :roll:
