Stayed here in Brugge before. They have a big secure area you can store bikes. They can also rent out bikes if you like.
  • Can't recommend any hotels that are bike friendly but can recommend Ribs 'n Beer for post ride eating...

Have only stayed in Martins Relais Hotel in Bruges and stayed with a bike. Was a great hotel to stay in and just a 2minute walk from the centre.

We stayed in the Jan Brito when cycling through Belgium, Holland and Northern France.

The Mrs was most impressed by the toileteries, and it was an easy walk to the centre.

there are apartments in Bruge you can rent too for a weekend/short break that are just 10-15mins walk from centrum outside of the walls, some nice bars out there too as they tend to be less full of tourists, so dont assume being that close to the centre is the be all and end all.

(I'd stay in Gent and ride to Brugge one day - It's very pretty, but it's like disneyland)

    In Brugge.
Brilliant film and you get to see Brugge without the airport/train station hassles.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • I would checkout air bnb. We rented two apartments during a week long stay back in the summer. Both places were within easy walking distance of the centre. Both were excellent and the owners superb (they lived elsewhere).

Had my bike with me and did quite a few rides out of Bruges into the countryside. Most annoying thing was you're supposed to use cycle lanes if provided, and many weren't suitable for going fast 30kph + which is very easy to do as it's completely flat. When I tried using the roads instead I was honked at many times :(

    Still, lovely place.

  • I stayed at Vila di Loof in Waagnerstraat for the RVV cyclo and it was a brilliant family run hotel with lots of effort put in to my stay.

They were up at 5 on the morning of the Ronde to get me some eggs and porridge.

    Recommended.
