Well, I need a commuter through winter and something good for light, off-road trails. I know a crossbike fits the bill and have narrowed it down to a few, although I am open to other suggestions.
Unfortunately, two I would have gone for, the Giant TCX SLR 1 or 2 (2015) are unavailable in my size anywhere but here is the TCX SLR 2 of 2016...

...and...

for which I can find very little in the way of reviews.

I have to go finance so preferably 0%. What do you all think?

Very at odds with my past experience of this forum.
Disappointing to say the least.0 -

Berating the forum for not helping you make up your own mind wont help!0 -
Like all the other threads on this topic on this page.
Rose = great.
London Road = Great if not racing.
SLX = Great if racing.
Basically get discs, one that fits and one that is the right price. Hydro is great, if you're not racing mud clearance isnt a massive issue and 1X is pointless if you're not as well.It's not so much about winning, I just hate losing.0 -

No, it's disappointing, that's all. I could berate Secteur for being the first person to actively, as opposed non-actively, not bother with my question by posting but not answering, adding only to the disappointment.

Another consideration are the bikes like the GT grade, Diverge etc.0

I really want to like the Genesis CdF but it's a big heavy lump of steel which doesnt make sense for a CX race bike. They are also under specced for the money.
I ve never ridden one so i can't say that all those problems don't disappear when you feel the exceptional ride quality...but I doubt itWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence
