Protests will be kicking off from 6pm and confined to Whitehall, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square, tomorrow evening.
Worth avoiding unless you're in your favourite V mask, else you might get mistaken for the 1%.
It was a bit hairy through Parliament last year.

The Rozzers were out in force last night as well for the student march. Must have been a dozen meat wagons lined up in Hyde Park Corner. Parliament Square no busier than normal, but as you say, might be one to avoid tonight.Waterloo - White City

I recall it being a bit hairy last year, protesters running through the square followed closely by photographers.
Anyway, with the road works on I already cut out Parliament by dipping south of the river.0 -
Do they actually close the road? I normally get to Parliament square at about 1700.Waterloo - White City

No it'll stay open and I'd guess you'll be fine at 5.0

I swear the photographers outnumber the protesters on most of these things.
Plenty of Met TSG vans lurking around the back streets of Theatreland yesterday, just a short baton charge away from any potential trouble....
No doubt today will be more of the same....0 -

Not a soul to be seen in Parliament Square at ~1700 last night. Probably a bit early. Bit of a mess this morning though.Waterloo - White City

It turns out they shut most of the roads going into Parliament later on, including Blackfriars bridge!0

This was the view of my office's front door last night
First thing I knew about it was this morning when I was looking at the news websites and recognized the building. There is absolutely no sign of anything now0 -

I like the quote from a protester:There would have been a revolution- but I think the weather's put everyone off to be honest0

I like the quote from a protester:There would have been a revolution- but I think the weather's put everyone off to be honest
In fairness, if you knew your history, you'd know good weather and revolutions always go together. You don't see popular revolutions in bad weather throughout history.
February 1917 was famously very warm for February in Russia.
But why should I deny you the chance to be smug? Hmm?0 -

Perhaps you could ask Bompington to help you look for your sense of humour?0 -

So, wondering why the barriers are going up again this morning? Chaos as all traffic diverted onto Embankment from Westminster Bridge. Looks like something big going onWaterloo - White City

So, my cunning avoid Parliament Square plan was to go from Hyde Park Corner through Victoria to Vauxhall Bridge Road then on to Millbank and back to Waterloo.
Remind me not to do that again. It's only through some outrageous and at times pretty daft filtering that I'm not still there.
Nice to be back on Millbank thoughWaterloo - White City
