Entry for the 3rd edition of the 3 Pistes Cycle Sportive will open on Sunday 22nd November. This is to coincide with the broadcast of BBC Adventure Show on Sunday 29th November.

The 2016 edition will take place on Sunday 29th May 2016.

Alongside the big ride, there will be the following options

Short route – Ride part of the route from Balmoral to Cairngorm.

also… 3 Day Ride – Turn the 3 Pistes sportive into a 3 day sportive Sat – Mon.

Day 1 – It’s a massive surprise that will be announced on Sat 21st November

Day 2 – Pitlochry – Cairngorm

Day 3 – It’s a massive surprise that will be announced on Sat 21st November

Now that I am signed up for the full 3 day Tour of the Highlands, I have found out that there are just 25 places left, so you will need to move fast if you want do this event!

Thanks for posting that, Alan. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

I've been trying to find motivation for getting back on the bike and have the modest goal of the Pedal for Scotland sportif for next year. The 3 Pistes could well be a target for the year after. It would also be a good stepping stone to the Snow Roads audax - something I've been wanting to do for a number of years.

Had a quick look at your epic one page website in search of more details, but couldn't find them. As part of the 300 mile Highland tour, it would suggest the 3 pistes is somewhere in the region of 100 miles, would that be correct?
