Giant 2015 D-fuse seatpost advice

Is anyone (defy 2015 owners ) aware whether there are any zero.
setback variations of the d-fuse seatpost ?

Current post has quite a large setback 25mm approx and keen to reduce if I can

Any help appreciated

    Hi - I do not think there is an alternative due to the semi tear drop shape of the defuse post. Not round, not aero. However, if I recall correctly, Giant seat clamps can be reversed from -25 to -5 giving you 2cm of pontential fore and aft / reach. At least the older Vector clamps did and I don't think Giant will have changed it due to their geo choices. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Pete, actually it appears they have changed them and as far as I can see cannot switch or reverse the clamp
    I have moved the seat as far forward as I can but would prefer inline post

  • dont have one myself but i think if you turn the clamp around (so if the bolt hex head is on the left, turn the clamp around so it is on the right) there is variation of setback. The clamp is asymmetric
