I'm considering the following endurance disc bkes for 2016
Cannondale hi mod, concerned about the wheels, no thru axle
Specialised Roubaix sl4 "old" technology tied into roval wheels, no thru axle, good value
Trek domane 6.9, very boring black
What do people think?

I have the BMC GF01 and love it. You can get it with or without Di2 and hydraulics. The wheels are DT Swiss and the comfort is extraordinary. Also you are not copying everyone else on the club ride!0

I'm pretty sure it's the Tarmac that ties you into the Roval wheels - something to do with the shorter chain stays. The more relaxed Roubaix has a standard hub size. Do check with your LBS thoughSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015

I dont think you'd go wrong with any of them to be honest, all great bikes, but why the insistent on thru axles ?
I have a 2015 Roubaix Comp Disc, which I picked up for a bargain from a Spesh Dealer, - been used about 4times as a Demo bike, but for £1450 was a steal, - £2500 new. Its uber comfy with 28c tyres even for my 95kg frame.
Friends I ride with have a BMC Disc, and a Synapse Disc.....all bloody great bikes.0 -
