Hi,
At the mo got the
SRAM MTH 716 Front / SRAM MTH 746 Rear with WTB STi23 TCS.
Now the issue I have is the rear hub always seems to have slight play in it, now reading online this seems to be an issue with other riders.
So been given the go ahead to change my wheels by the boss. I'm having the built, so wanting something lighter than I've got so looking at the spank oozy trail rims (did look at the vomax but not certain will be ok with riding I do) now hubs I'm looking at Chris king hubs but look costly so looking for any suggestions?.
I mainly do cliff riding so steps rock sections and the general stuff if that helps on selection

Hope or DT Swiss hubs would be the best choices, solid, reliable and good value.
I would avoid the Oozy rims if you ride rocky trails and big drops, they're really soft and dent really easy.
Mavic EX729 or WTB i25 would be my choices. Halo Combats are good as well.
Spank use quite soft but light alloys in their rims.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

no issue with my spank oozy rims riding rocky trails or drops but remember they are not DH rims.
if you want a tough rim thats well priced then get a DT swiss EX471.0 -
So you find them ok in the rocky descents, wont be jumping with them.
RockyMonkey sc have you used them?0 -
I used the Spike Race 28 which is the more heavy duty version. The rear lasted me one weekend and the front cracked between spoke holes after a couple months.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

the oozy rim is not aimed at DH or jumping,
" the OOZY line was designed to offer all the strength and stiffness needed for aggressive trail and Enduro disciplines, at XC weights. OOZY offers the confidence to push your limits both on the way up and the way down your favorite trail or race track."
the spoon series are the rims you would want from spank0
