Can anyone help me identify my bike please?
It has a slight story attached as it was one of the bikes in the new Lance Armstrong film. It was badged up as a Gazelle TVM (and as far as I can see, re-sprayed to represent the team colours). Most of the transfers were removed before re-sale but two remain (on the head tube and the seat tube). I'm fairly sure it isn't a Gazelle, after checking their catalogues from the 80s and 90s.
At both ends of the top tube it has heart cut-outs and also at the top of the down tube. The brake cable also runs externally, under the top tube and has three stays, evenly spaced out.
There is a serial number on the bottom bracket which reads; 90250 and also says 54 degrees (o) C. I've searched for this but come up with nothing. I suspect the frame is Columbus and the bottom bracket is about 76mm in width. Does anyone have any ideas? The bike is great to ride, so I have no issues with it. Just curious if anyone knows what it actually is?? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem I can add images! Cheers

It'd be SO much easier with images. Have a look at the 'your road bikes' thread about how to add images.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Gazelle serial numbers on this link, but yours doesn't fit with their numbering:

Heart-shaped cut outs? There'll be someone along who will know who supplied what, although the frame number and cut outs could even suggest a Mercian, but photos will sort identification.

A lot of frame makers put heart shapes into the Prugnat lugs because with a drill and saw it was one of the easiest shapes to achieve, put photos of bike onto a host eg photobucket and post a link here it will be easier to identify. The 54 probably describes the frame size not angle (which you would expect to be around 75)my isetta is a 300cc bike0

Theseannery, my Spezzotto is exactly as you describe, except for the cable runs along the top of the top tube and no serial number on BB shell. I will post photos later on tonight for you. The bike is pictured in this forum in another thread.0
