im guessing the shimano pedals would be the better option? especially at that price...
Thanks!

The Saints seem to be a bargain at that price. Also have a look at the new Superstar Nano X. I've just got a pair and they are great!

Wellgo MG1 if you don't have clown feet.
Light, around £20 on Ebay.I don't do smileys.
There is no secret ingredient - Kung Fu Panda

Saints aren't too hot - heavy, poor grip unless you remove the washers, temperamental bearings. The Mg1 is a good pedal for xc and trail riding, light, wide, good grip, good bearings.0

I looked at the Saints but must be a reason they are so cheap?
Anyhow, Superstar Nano techs got 5 stars on the Bikeradar review and the nano-X are the upgraded version so I'll be getting some of these soon0 -
I've got a pair of the older Nanos and the new ones. I'd say the new ones are an improvement. Just watch them on your shins!Stumpjumper FSR Comp 650B http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13032340

I have Saints on my bike, I took the washers off before using them and they are great in terms of grip. Not had them overly long so no comment on the bearing longevity.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
Thanks for all the input. In the end ive decided to go with the Shimanos. if they fail me il be sure to try out the Nano's. Thanks guys!0

3 years on Saints. Great grip without washers. Robust as it gets. Occasional re-grease. I'll buy again.Family, Friends, Fantastic trails - what else is there
