I want start using a camera on my bike but i dont want it to be noticeably big or very visible. Definitely not anything that fits on the top of your helmet as they just look daft and make you look like a target. So i want small,or even hidden or something that looks like a light. The smaller and lighter the better.
Anybody seen anything or got any recommendations ? Cheers

Buy it here:-

I just bought one, very impressive video quality for the size. You will need a microSD card as well.0 -
The Veho muvi is tiny, and very light, and at £40ish, a snip. I clip mine to my rucksack shoulder strap. The pic quality is not great, but okay of you just want to review a ride. You'd struggle to capture a car number plate if you're moving at any speed and wanted to shame the driver on Youtube o rforward a clip to the rozzers. And now it's dark at night I don't bother with it.0

the Mobius is a ar dashcam that requires a power source though - how do you power that on a bike?Your Past is Not Your Potential...0

Go pro also do a really small one, much smaller than their usual models0

The Mobius has a built in battery that lasts for about an hour. As above, quality is good for the price, and you can set it up via an app for a smartphone."It must be true, it's on the internet" - Winston Churchill0 -
My rides are 2, 3, or more hours. Also even for shorter rides, charging a device for every ride is a pain. A bike camera should have a battery life similar to a Gamin bike computer - 18 hours.0

Hi all, sorry to drag up an old thread but I'm in the same market.
Have a contour Roam but now doing a lot loner rides so looking for something that can handle 3hrs or more of video capture.0 -
Look here- http://www.techradar.com/news/photograp ... as-1274790
There's a few options of 3 hours - but whether you GET that 3 hours or not in the real world...0 -
Think it all comes down to how many mAh the battery has.
My Contour Roam is 1350, the fly 12 is over 4000 so great, but you can't actually buy one!
I'd happily buy a cheapie from eBay if anyone listed that kind of detail on there.0 -
Not really discreet but GoPro on handlebars is not overly noticeable to anyone passing you, really good quality and easy to edit, got one as a present pretty good,0
