Hey,
I'm looking to buy a full sus after a couple of years with hardtails, but I'm not too sure hate to get! I've got a budget of about £1500, but could stretch it slightly if I found the right bike! Does anyone have any recommendations? Currently I'm looking at a Specialised Camber, but I'm not sure what else there really is at this price range! Thank you!

I brought an end of year Camber for £1500 - was the 2013 Camber Comp 29", I looked at the 2014 but they had reduced the spec so better value for money to get the 2013 with a decent discount.
Good bike, only gripes I have is seems a bit low and suffers more from pedal strikes than I'm used to, 29" wheels feel a bit wobbly on fast descents (not that it causes any problems) and they are harder to manoeuvre round tight turns but they do climb really well and roll well, good for long XC hacks. I've been to Wales and it was good.0 -

Take a look on Paul Cycles website. They usually have some bargain Giants. The Trance and Anthem are both extremely good.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

his reply was emphasising your poor grammar, not actually a question0 -
There's a vitus which got a great review or two which is now under your budget - check CRC
Was it the new Calibre or Rockrider with the funny name which got 5stars just recently?Family, Friends, Fantastic trails - what else is there

Oh, he's one of those people who likes to make others look stupid so they can feel better about themselves, sorry I didn't realise. Thanks for your input.0 -
If you go second hand you will get more for your money.0

Depends on the type of riding you're doing but the advice you've had is good. Buyabike in Lancashire are selling 2015 Giant Trance 2 for £1500. (i'm not affiliated to them by the way). If you can buy new, so there is a warranty included, especially on the frames. I've had to learn the hard way as my Anthem, which was second hand but hardly used, has developed a crack near the rear shock mount and its not covered due to me not being the original owner. If you do go for used buy something solid like an Orange 50

My Camber developed a creak after 3 months, had a full set of bearings and rear derailleur under warranty.0

Orange Five? solid?????
Don't confuse weight with strength. Fives are well known for cracking around the shock mounts, and the seat tubes, and the top tubes, and the drop outs.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
