Giant Defy Advanced mudguards?

I've got a disc braked Defy Advanced 1 and I'd like to fit some mudguards to it for the winter, but unfortunately it hasn't got specific mounts, has anyone fitted mudguards to one?
I was looking at Crud RoadRacer Mk2 but can't seem to find any info about fitting them to a bike with disc brakes.

I have just fitted Crud Roadracer Mk 2. I would only use them again if absolutely nothing else would fit.0

My LBS have come up with some wizardry for bikes without mudguard fixings, such as the Defy Advanced. Here's an example from their facebook page, an Advanced Pro in this instance:
