    No gloating from me pal.
    It always had the potential to be a shambles (bad weather or not) and unfortunately that is how it turned out?
    I hope nobody was badly injured?
    Hopefully Rapha will learn from this and get back to some proper racing next year on a proper cross course?

    Yes you chaps were right, I should have listened to you :) Yeah, let's hope Rapha get back to putting on proper cross races like they've been known for.

    I rode up from the outskirts of London in the rain and got absolutely soaked, no problem I thought as I had a change of gear. The course looked pretty treacherous from arrival so I'm not sure what was expected. There was nowhere to park up out of the way, another issue with an urban course. Realistically it was a poor shout from Rapha and they should of stuck to mud. Free beer was great, but I was already late getting home so couldn't take any advantage. Gutted as I could of raced on Sunday instead, but having already lined this event up I couldn't change - that's family life for ya!
