Just wanted to know if 28mm Schwalbe Ones would be ok for these rims on my road bike. I've also seen Hutchinson Atom 23mm at a good price and was wondering about these as well.

  • Old or new (2015) SL 23? The new ones are a looser fit, but you won't find them on budget mass market wheels

  • Hi Ugo,the dreaded Superstar ones, even though I've had no bother once i got the spokes tensioned.
  • Just one other thing I've also seen Bontrager TLR3 greatly discounted on Bike 24 any views on these? Thanks.

    Yes, those will be OK.

I had 23mm Schwalbe One (tubeless) on the 'old' SL23, and nowadays I have 28mm Hutchinson Sector on those rims. On another Pacenti SL23 wheelset I mounted 32mm WTB CrossWolfs.

I have those 28mm schwables tyres mounted on my v1 sl23 ' they fit fine. 29mm wide though once inflated. Easy to mount too.
