Help finding a black quill stem please

I have been trying to find a black quill stem around 115-120mm in length with a 26mm clamp to finish off a steel build for a while now with out much luck. There are plenty of silver ones around and I can find new black ones up to 100mm but not longer. I have kept an eye out for used quill's on ebay and will keep looking. Anyone seen anything out there that I may have missed? Many thanks.

Retrobike forum? BITD this would be a very large size, so wasn't common - sizing conventions were to ride a frame a bit 'bigger' than today's. 10 years ago you could buy NOS quill stems for a fiver...nobody wanted them.

Thanks Dork, I had not seen that. I keep it in mind but ideally I'd like something that looks a bit like a Cinelli 1A as it would fit better on the build. I'll try some vintage forums too. Thanks

They're out there, Cinelli, 3TTT, Modolo all did them. Try Hilary Stone, Retrobike, eBay, possibly LFGSS... Having said that, cheap modem SystemEX ones come in black.

I have an itm big one in black quill 110mm that I don't require anymore. May not be style you want but if it is I won't want much for it.

Wow jimh, thought we had a winner there with the Zenith, its perfect except only up to 100mm I need shorter arms. At £26 delivered I might just take a punt on it, I plan to run it as low as it will go, so does inserting it more into the fork effectively increase the reach anyway?
