Me and a buddy undertook the Giro de Orbital the weekend before last.
It's a big challenge but keep a steady pace, drink plenty of water/rehydration source of choice and eat food regularly and we knocked it off in 12 hours.
There's a mixture of roads surfaces, country lanes, busy A roads, urban centres, a ferry crossing and Tilbury docks to navigate and negotiate. We even ended up going past the entrance to Lakeside shopping centre. very busy at about 10-30 on a Saturday morning.
But it's a good day out and good to be able to say I've completed it.
