Just wondering - am after a long sleeve brevet jersey (a specific one in discontinued colours) - how much can one expect to pay for this from the archive store? This one doesn't come with the gilet. One has come up for sale and want a guide for price .

If I remember correctly, items in the outlet (I refuse to use the 'a' word) store at Kilver Court were generally around 50% of the RRP. Sorry, don't know about the specific item that you mention but I did get some other jerseys at that price.
Hope this helps.Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra

I was there in late June and from what I saw it was pretty much 50% off most things. I picked up a hardshell jacket for £130 from £260.
I don't think they do mail order, or it would just turn into a mail order outfit, although I might be wrong.0 -

Lol .... No delivery, you go and buy it.
Generally, like everyone else says. You get 50% off retail. Although there can be more, had a lightweight jersey for £40.00 that retailed at £90.00Still thinking of something clever to say!0 -
Mcr Rapha have an outlet on the second floor. They had a green brevet jersey and black one (various sizes) on Friday plus the gilets. Prob not 50% tho'M.Rushton0

That's not a discount outlet though - all pretty much full price gear like the London gaff (unless there's a sale on), so nothing like Kilver Court.
Nice coffee though0 -

I am after this one, in a small, long sleeve (not sure if there is a s/s one) and don't mind about the gilet

Top floor in Manchester is an Archive Store for past season stuff, discounts not as big as Kilver Court but its not full price. The normal price store is on the 1st floor where the coffee shop is.0 -

Ahhh...I hadn't actually realised this! I'd just ventured as far as the first floor, I hadn't realised there was a second floor! I got as far as the coffee and thats it - Teach me to open my gob, thanks for putting me right. I'll have to check it out next time I'm down.0 -
Im hoping to visit the outlet in a few weeks.
Is it worth giving them a call regarding sizes or reckon it will change drastically within a week?
Im hoping to get an idea for a hardshell price and also classic shorts. Would welcome any pricing.N2 - SW1

Thanks. Relatives are passing by Bristol area tomorrow so said they would head to the outlet to pick up a hardshell. Im hoping to pick up an orange one.
Still debating for bib shorts or not. I have tried on the classic, but not the pro team. However I see more people wearing pro team than the classics.N2 - SW1

Remember the Pro Team are a size up on the classics.
Probably no orange hardshells. They had blue or gold last time I was there. Drop them an email, they will respond quicklyMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

i have a pair of classics which i bought full price from the London store, they're large which is my normal cycling sizing however i'm pretty sure a medium would have been a better fit. I think the pro range is a more snug fit.

no they're very different, i'd say the rapha hard shell is for torrential rain and cold the alpha isnt really waterproof its just very warm in super tight fitting, it might be all in my mind but i definitely feel faster wearing the alpha.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

Kinda the dilemma I am, in anticipation for heavy rain forecasting for the future colder months.
I had a puncture on friday commuting to work. Granted I had only completed 11 miles, but in the heavy rain and fixing my puncture I felt the cold. Hence the reason for me to purchase a hardshell for downpour commuting/training miles.
Shame if they dont have the orange colour. I had my mind set on that. Will see what colours they have in medium. I am a large in the classic bib shorts, so likely an XL for those.
However will see what the prices are for those. One thing I never asked about the hardshell is... does it have any reflective material on it?
I believe the pro team does and inclined to lean towards that if it has more reflective properties.N2 - SW1
Canyon Endurace 9.00 -
Prices are straightforward. Everything is half price (if it's recent stock) or more than half price for older stuff (such as RCS kit).
The hardshell has some reflective on it. But not much. For me, the hardshell is a good commuter but not a great winter mile jacket. Simply because it's too good. If it's that much rain on the Sunday run, stay indoors. But, for commuting, where there's no choice in doing it or not, a great option. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Cheers Bender for almost always reinforcing my purchases
So I guess I could simply do as others do with the gabba and layer up. But for a commute I will purchase this. As said hope there is the orange colour
Good to know how the pricing works. Im going to browse the online store.N2 - SW1

Just been told there is no refund policy on the items bought. The last time I went to rapha the hardshell did fit, but I cant remember much as my focus was on the pro team.
Anyways a medium has been bought in orange and if it doesn't fit I will plonk it on ebay.N2 - SW1
