Ian Steel RIP
According to Adrian Timmis, Scots road racer Ian Steel has passed away aged 86.
60 years ago this year he started the Tour de France as part of the first British team to be invited. He also won the first Tour of Britain in 1951 and, a year later: The Peace Race, from Warsaw to East Berlin to Prague.
