MTB cherry has been POPPED!!

Hi all.
I popped my mtb cherry on Sunday at gisburn forest and absolutely loved it. I'm a roadie and have always wanted to try mtb. I used my mates ns clash 2 and loved it. that been said I am now looking to purchase a mtb and I have got my eye on a kona blast 2015 hard tail. I have been and seen it and think its perfect for my level of riding. question is does anyone have any experience with these bikes?? any info will be a great help.

Links help, but on memory you could do a lot better at twice the price.
Have a look through the million threads in Buying Advice on entry level bikes.
The look at Decathlon, Go Outdoors or Halfords.

I'm in the same boat! A roadie, but started going out on my old Holdsworth frame on 35C cross tyres, and loving it.
I've just bought the B'Twin Rockrider 560 from Decalthon at £330 (this morning!). It was a bargain at £400! Check out the spec. compared to that Blast. Do a search of this site for Rockrider 560 and see how many recommendations it gets above bikes worth £500 or more. Well worth a look...the £300 or so I've saved might be able to go on an Ultegra upgrade on my road bike! 8)0 -
ive got the blast brand new at 400. don't think its ever touched dirt b4. unfortunately that fat sh!t santa will be keeping it until xmas but ill keep using my mates. I think 400 for tha blast is quite a steal. went out sunday and already waiting for my next ride.0
