What Colour Cycling Helmet Do You Have.?

I am looking at upgrading my Cycling Helmet but unsure whether to get a bright colour Lumo/Black/White or just go for standard Black or White,Been looking at the Kask Vertigo whick looks a great helmet.

What colour do you Guys & Gals have.???

My road helmet (BBB) is white/red, so is bike

My mtb helmet (Met Kaos) is pearl white, the bike is fluro green...

Mine's fluoro yellow, if you aren't sure why it's wisest choice look for someone wearing one when out on the road and wait to see from how far away and to what extent it catches the eye compared to any other colour.

Just got one to wear over winter for a slight downhill Sharp right turn off a mixed.use bridge onto slippy flags. The only part of my commute I could see a.helmet having to perform like the relevant test. Basically a.low speed impact from about a metre height. Any other realistic impact on is potentially more than a helmet is designed to protect.

That's possibly why tut tut is not really a fair comment,it's a personal choice as to whether you want to believe a helmet will save your life.

I've got a.specialized Centro in flouro green. Bought it because it's shaped the same as my head inside so it fits perfectly. Plus commuting in winter I figure every possible way of getting noticed from retro reflectives to hi-viz yellow and greens all to the good.

I think flouro green/yellow better than white. Plus if I'd seen the specialized Centro led with the led lights on the back I'd have got it. Don't like the idea of helmet lights somehow. Something hard on your helmet to stick into your head in a bad crash? No thanks.

I have a black and yellow Mojito, a black and yellow Casco Speedster and a red and white Kask K50. The Mojito is by far the most visible from behind.

Yup. It's the same one in the pic above. The rear of the helmet is pretty much entirely yellow. It's a great lid.

I used to have red white and black helmets but when i joined a new club the colour clashed with the kit. Since then (2014) i will only ever buy black helmets as they go with pretty much any kit.

Last one was a kind of silvery grey Giro Atmos which went well with my CR1-SL. Sold it to my son who was needing a new helmet but pleaded poverty and couldn't bring himself to buy a cheaper one.

Replaced it with a black / white / red Aeon which goes better with my predominantly red and black kit.

Coincidentally, it's got the same colour combo as one of my bikes (I know it shouldn't matter but........). It might not be the best looking helmet in the world as it has a sort of mushroom effect on the bonce but it's certainly the lightest and coolest that I've ever used which is more important. I've had it for a few years now and am just starting to think that I could do with a change but I'll probably wait until next year unless I spot a bargain in the meantime. If anybody saw this post yesterday, I have deleted one of the original photos as, on further inspection, I realised that it was close to but not the same as mine (sorry but I got lazy and took stock images from the net!).
