Cretin? That's pretty harsh isn't it? You need a reservoir. That's, as stated, functional. Could be smaller, perhaps. Will be in the future. I doubt the person who designed it is stupid. Far from it, in fact.It's a damn sight nicer than 105.

No uglier than shimano hoods on hydraulic systems. I have these on my De Rosa and to be honest i'm far more concerned over the looks of the frameset, wheels and cranks than a couple of little sticky up bits that have my hands covering them most of the time.argon 18 e116 2013 Vision Metron 80

Haha. I've got Rival 22 Hydro on my cross bike - same levers I think. They actually look okay when they're built up and the ergonomic are good.
To date I haven't looked down to find I was riding Katie Hopkins in the woods :shock:tick - tick - tick0
