Stay retro or upgrade?

Want some wider bars, 700mm

Do I stay with my 25.4 stem, and get 2nd hand bars for £18?

Or, upgrade to 31.8 with a new stem and bars for £26?

    Can't be too many 700mm 25.4mm bars about these days. Wider bars usually call for a stiffer stem. I'd go for the latter.

    Yeah took a while, found some 2nd hand Azonic bars for £18......
