Just back from Grenchen
Very good racing indeed. The roof almost came off the velodrome whenever Kung set a wheel onto the track - the Swiss are absolutely desperate for him to be the next Fabs. He's bloody good, mind. Cracking meet by the Swiss, all round, as well as the Dutch. Suspect both nations were targeting the Champs with funding in mind. Fantastic atmosphere in the Velodrome for most of the races especially the Mens TP and IP.
Very good meet by the GB endurance squads. The sprinters were pants (except Marchant who's coming through fast) - but I spoke with a few people within the GB set-up, and it seems they hadn't targeted these Champs for the sprinters at all, even to the extent of not tapering for it.
Well, well. The proof will be in Rio.0 -

World Cups->Worlds->Rio.
The Euros not really on the sprint pecking order of priorities.
Qualifying quota is a bit of an issue though.
Katy's been going really well throughout the Summer and continues to improve. Big strides.
"Ours" is aiming to be at 2 of the WCs. Fingers crossed all stays well."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Hmmm. I was pondering that over the weekend.
Vicky Williamson had a right ol' tumble in the Kierin rep - touch of wheels with Katy Marchant?0
