I don't really see the need for them. I prefer to wear shorts, even when it's raining.

Thought about some for keeping out the wind and rain for when it gets really cold to keep the wind chill off the legs as tights can soak up water and make the cold worse at times. Thinking some proper weather proof tights and baggies are the better option.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

I'm seriously considering buying some bike specific shorts or 3/4 legnths.. mainly as I'm fed up with ruining jeans, casual shorts and swimming shorts, plus should offer some wind resistance.
Was thinking about these, any opinions?

But now the tread is well and truly derailed what are people's thoughts on these?
Are they fairly wind proof?
Was thinking maybe some full length ones but they don't come with inners and the legs lol a bit wide for the front chainring. .But iIfigured I'd have to get some 3/4 warm inners anyway for when it's really cold?0 -

Pants for bikers sounds more like it's aimed at wannabe Hells Angel types, bankers on Hardly Ablesons. Leather chaps with tassels perhaps?0 -
Now I have the image seared into my mind of someone riding in assless chaps. Thanks.0
