Way of the Roses done - what next?

A couple of weeks ago a group of 8 of us completed Way of the Roses, 170 miles in two days from Morecambe to Bridlington, staying overnight in Ripon.
We loved it! The roads were a pleasure to cycle on. Day 1, 80 miles, was fairly hard going climbing 7500 feet and day 2 was a great steady 95 flat miles.
We loved the distance and the challenge and how well suited the route was for group riding road bikes and the fact the majority was on quiet roads rather than cycle paths and bridleways.
We also liked the Way of the Roses given its proximity to home (Sheffield).
So......looking ahead to next year any suggestion of a similar event or route? Two days 150 - 220 miles, maybe more if we added on a third day? Perhaps something where our respective better halves could get involved in meeting us, evening socializing?

If not Walney to Wear, or North Pennine Cycleway could be good.
We also have done the WOTR and thought its the best Sustrans route we have followed!
Coast and Castles South is 200 miles Newcastle to Edinburgh. From Berwick to Edinburgh you get a choice of coastal/river route or an inland route. I've only done 10 miles of this in the spring and it is obviously flat, but very chilly and wet as you have the north sea to your side the whole time.
Coast and Castles North is Edinburgh to Aberdeen (170miles) with inland detaours if you want them. Don't know what it's like to ride that though!
Train links to the route should be fairly good from Sheffield and the ride from Newcastle to the coast is a pleasant start. Pick warm months if doing it.
