53/39 chainrings @ 110mm BCD!?
So I have a feeling that when I change the cassette and chain on my winter bike, I’ll need to fit new chainrings.
Current BB/crank is Campagnolo UT/Veloce with 110mm BCD. So you guessed correctly, the current chainrings are 50/34. Are there ANY standard double chainrings out there that will fit a 110mm BCD crank; rather than the usual 130mm BCD?
Cheers
Ben

I have a Miche 53 tooth ring on my 110mm SL-K crank on my TT bike.
An issue with swapping out this way is you still have only a 34 tooth on the inside and this can create jams when chsnging up or down as the gap is bigger for the derailleur to push the chain over. This is also more likely to cause the chain to fall off going down onto the smaller ring since the rear derailleur will lose a lot of tension on the chain.
Since I don’t really go onto the small ring when TTing its not an issue but on a road bike its likely to cause more issues.0 -
Rotor do chainrings in 52/36 in 110BCD.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0

FWIW Campagnolo 110mm chainring pattern has 1 bolt offset, so you can't simply use regular rings - Stronglight and TA do replacements - try Spa CyclesMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
