Anyone ride this event this year and also done the Maratona before? Just wondering how hard it is compared to the Maratona as am considering what events to do next year?

    Yes, I've done this one, although it was called the Granfondo Pantani back then. Having done the Maratona as well, I'd say this is much tougher. The Mortirolo was brutal, especially with the Gavia already in the legs.

    As with most Italian events, the organisation is superb, and the Gavia is a beautiful climb. The less said about the Mortirolo the better :D
