I found a 'New old Stock' Colnago Extreme C frame languishing in Italy a couple of weeks ago so I rescued it, brought it home and threw some bits onto it. The Colnago saddle will shortly be replaced by a Fizik and the saddle bag is wrong so will also go.
Its such a smooth ride, I do love 'Nagos'

The wheels look completely out of place on that.
Sort the cabling out at the mechs too, looks messy.0 -

You think you've got problems. I've got a couple of Ighs, an Ange, an Ott, a Bble and an Ook.Faster than a tent.......0 -
Well the tyres have had to go, 23mm are far more suitable due to the gap in the front forks so the contis will be reused. The size (54cm) is perfect for me and the same as my other Colnago's (apologies for the abbreviation above ). The seat post looks short due to the light and saddle bag....both now consigned to the garage.
I've done 360km on it and it's as expected. Buttery smooth ride, very comfortable and definitely a keeper.
The only desirable Colnago left to snaffle is a C50 in World Championship colours, then I'm done..... But they seems very very rare sadly.0
