Shimano road disc caliper - leak past pistons

I have an issue with my RS685 brakes (Shimano's road disc hydraulic). Brake fluid is leaking past the pistons in the caliper. My guess is that this is a warrantee return.
Before I dismantle, get covered in brake fluid and then pack off back to where it came from, does anyone know of a fix?

If the calipers are still within their warranty period then I would send them back.
Sounds as if one of the piston seals has gone and you really don't want brake fluid getting onto the pads and rotors.
There may be a workaround but if you fiddle with them and can't solve the problem then any warranty claim may be torpedoed0 -

A replacement is only £40, thankfully, but I'll try the warrantee return as well (they are less than a year old).0
