Really pleased with my latest purchase , but its so new I haven't ridden it yet! Surprised it came in under 8kg with not so light wheelset. Got some more tweaks to make to it this month. Comments welcome!

I'm not into TT'ing but that is one spectacularly good looking bike. Boardman really seems to have grown from strength to strength over the years. Get the tape off the aero section of the bars!0

Get the tape off the aero section of the bars!
However it's heavily compromising the aero profile of the bar. It's a race bike not a comfort bike
I just have grip tape on the Bulls of mine and a hand width of tape at the end of the extensions.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

This. You buy a TT bike to be fast, so adding bits on that make it slower is counter-productive.
Step 1- Remove all the bar tap from everywhere.
Step 2- Add a tiny bit on the ends of the aero bars and bullhorns where your hands will actually be during a race (grip tape is better and faster).
Step 3- Slam the stem and base bar and add extensions under pads.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0 -

Which trispoke is that? Doesn't look CTT legal...English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

Very sweet but I hope you've taken Nap's advice re the tape and that you'll be slamming that stem this winter.....Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

No not yet, its on the turbo trainer over the winter so just experimenting with position etc. No point slamming the stem unless its 1. sustainable 2. not having a major effect on power. Nice article on pros and cons of stem position http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/fitness/bike-fit/should-you-slam-your-stem-yes-or-no-1926870 -
That article is about road bikes. This is not a road bike. But hey, feel free to keep it as it is. Just makes it easier for everyone competing against you.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

Without being harsh and sounding like a hat because I hate it when people slag off other people's bikes, I'm afraid Grill is right - this is a TT bike designed to be as aero as poss and as fast as poss.
Anyhow, it's a pretty lightweight article and the conclusion seems to be that if you're flexible enough then do it.
You aren't doing an audax on it, so a bit of Pilates and slam that stem........Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

No need to change stack if my advice from above is followed. Free speed.Step 3- Slam the stem and base bar and add extensions under pads.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
