Is this a cyclocross or road bike frame?

Hello all, I've recently seen a listing for this alan bike online. Seller specifies it as a road bike, but I had a feeling that Alan did mostly cyclocross bikes. And I can't identify the frame at all. Does anyone know this kind of bike? And is it indeed a road bike frame?

Cheers

Could be anything with fake stickers X but yes definitely road bike.
  • Ok no doubt it's set up as a road bike, just had no idea that Alan actually made frames designed for road. Just looks as though the bb is abnormally high.. but I guess pic isn't great. will have to go check the bike out.

It's a road frame, look at the tyre clearances - Alan also produced one of the first production carbon road frames - Record Carbonio. If it was CX it would have studs for cantis. Frame is probably about year 2000-02 judging by the paintjob and looks like a 1" fork - regular threaded headset with aheadstem adaptor?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Alan were one of the premiere road frame manufactures.

If you were to post your bike on Retrobike I'm sure one of the experts would give you an in depth history of Alan and your bike,
