Looking at hiring a couple of VR1s in Majorca next year but not sure of sizes. They have 45s, 50s, 52s, 54s and 56s. We're 6'2" and 5'5", does anyone know what would be the best sizes for us?

Sizing seems to be similar to the C59 and C60 i.e. add aprox 4 cm to the numbers. I'm 5'7" and a bit and ride a 48s C59.

    Thanks, my wife rides a 50cm so she'll probably be best with a 45s, I ride a 58cm so I'll go for a 54s

My AC-R is a size 52S, equivalent of a 56cm frame, i am about 180cm tall and i found that i had to put a shorter stem on to feel more comfortable.

but that of course could just be down to how flexible i am (not)
My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...

Its a V1 R. In sloping subtract 4 cm. so your assessment is right.

I'm heading there later this month, still haven't pinned down where I'm going to hire from. Where are you getting your Colnago from out of interest?

This place does them (but I think the website is under maint at the moment)

About EUR 220 for 5 days or EUR 290 for 7 days. Which is v.expensive for hire bikes!

Regarding sizing... Maybe you could ask a Colnago stockist back home and explain you're going on holiday and looking at getting one, they could let you sit on some in stock to see what size fits best?

My c59 is a 52s and Im 178 cms with longish legs. I have a 120 stem on this but a 110 on my other bikes for the same position. I could ride a 50s but would probably need 25mm of spacers.
