KS Cruxi integra help

Hi guys,
I bought a new cruxi dropper from a friend, however I think it's shafted.
The actuator pin is really slack and needs pushing considerably further in that the cable actuator will push it.
Post in normal upright position, the actuator pin is where it should be
Post upside down the actuator pin just falls inside the post approx 4-5mm away from the cable actuator. To release the post the actuator pin needs to be pressed from this position.
I've emailed Ks but had no response as yet in 2 days.
Any ideas?

Assuming it's not just an adjustment somewhere (find a manual online), if it's fubared give it back to your friend.I don't do smileys.

Ks don't list a manual for it on their site other than 'coming soon'. My guess is that it's fubard.0
