Convert MTB Shoes to Clipless??

Hi,
Is it possible to convert my pair of Scott Sticki X Flex BOA MTB shoes to Clipless please?? It`s not something I`d like to attempt myself so wondered if there was anywhere that provided this service, preferably in the Cheltenham area or perhaps I can post the shoes??
I`ve only used the shoes a couple of times and so I`m reluctant to buy new SPD shoes.
Thanks in advance,
Pete

just pull the removable cover of the sole and fit the cleats of choice.
all the info should be in the info that came with them. or available on Scotts web site."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

These are the shoes but there is no mention of any removable cover in the sole and I can`t find one??

It's not a spd shoe. Sticky sole designed for use with flat pedals. You can't just attack it with a knife.0

You assume that's what the OP has. Don't seem to match the description, and as the OP has posted no links, who can say.I don't do smileys.

That's funny cause the pair shown in this review have the SPD mounts exposed?
There's a flat only version as well.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

I have had a look and there is no mention of a removeable plate that I can find. I dont think you could convert them unless you fitted a whole new sole and thats an expensive job plus you might have trouble finding a replacement sole. I recently had my walking boots resoled by Lancashire Sports repairs they might be able to help but it cost me £50 and you could get a new pair of SPD style shoes for a lot less.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
A Re sole is usually just a case of replacing the rubber. Converting them to spd would involve a lot more and probably cost more than a new pair of shoes.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Thanks for all the responses - I`ve decided to sell them and go for SPD specific shoes. Great to get help when you need it :-)0

Bono was given the award for World's Biggest Tw@t by Viz but I still find Coldplay's music far more annoying. Mumford and Sons are right up there as well.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
