Hi
I am looking for a new fork for my 26". I will be getting some new wheels too so was looking at bolt through. I will be using these for XC riding, nothing gnarly downhill. I also need them to have a tapered steerer.
I was looking at a Rockshock Reba RL solo. I know very little about forks so advice would be grand.
Thanks

How much travel do they need to suit your frame?Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

You can get the Suntour Epicon (Now Epixon) for about £135 off ebay and it's pretty much the equal of the Reba (some say it's better, some the same, some not 'quite' as good).Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I was thinking 120mm would be the maximum needed.
I have a Cube LTD Pro, with Manitou Minute's on at the moment.0 -
I wouldn't go over the 100mm that frame was designed for.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

You suggesting he changes the lowers on the Minutes to bolt through?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
