Hi everyone im hoping for a bit of advice,
Me and a few friends are looking to go to Keswick in November for mtb and we kinda want a bit of help in deciding which routes would be best ... were comfortable on red and have done a few blacks as well as downhills around our local area with two and three dots on the extreme scale (not sure what the grading is)
So yea that's it really end of November is a bit of a bugger but its the only time we can go, we realise that the weather may screw us over also so any advice or any general tips would be great and a few good pubs for after and to warm up wouldn't go amiss.
Cheers my dears, peace out
Rich

Depends how long you're staying and how well you know the area etc', but the Borrowdale Bash is an obvious choice as it's rideable from Keswick town centre and is easy to navigate.
This http://www.keswick.org/UserContent/doc/4718/adventure-cycling-keswick-borrowdalebash-route3.pdf leaflet should be easy to get hold of in Tourist Info'. Also contains other routes.
Whinlatter is a cracking trail centre if the weather is really t*ts up (or even if the weather is mint!)
Otherwise, there's the whole of the Lake district to go at if you've got your car with you!0 -
+1 for above route. Expect a bit of uphill pushing. Bridleway down Castle Crag starts just after the cattle grid at the top of Honistor Pass on your right.
Good cafe at Grange and another at Portinscale.
Another option.
