Problem increasing pressure on Pikes

Hi Guys,
Just signed up looking for some advice.
I have just bought a second hand Bronson carbon and having some problems adding pressure to the forks.
The seller let them down (plus shock) so it could fit in the box easier, I have sorted the shock but when I try to add some pressure to the 160mm Pikes nothing is happening, the gauge on the pump just sits at 0 when pumping it.
Am I doing something wrong here? They were fine in the pics before it was sent.

Is the pump still working? Put it back on the shock to check.
Make sure the top of the fork (with the air valve) is tight, use a 24mm socket or spanner, not an adjustable spanner.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Big forks like a pike can take a while to build pressure when using a tiny volume shock pump, how long did you try for?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

The pressure will be rising noticeably after just a few pumps with the Rockshox or Fox shock pump.
If all the air is out of the fork the travel will drop. Do they fully extend while you are pumping air in to them?Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Check the schrader valve is properly seated.0
