Mountain Bike Suspension

I read an article that I found by Google link to bikeradar "Buyers Guide to Mountain Bike Suspension Part I" by authors Paul "supersonic" Hayes, Simon Young and Andres Dodd.
This article includes an image with heading "suspension dynamics" from a book ?
Can you give me the name and author of the book or publication - source of the article graphic?
I am a Structural/Seismic Engineer in California and have a analytical and technical background and interest in structure, isolation and damping. I want to understand the different rear suspension systems.
Any sources that illustrate and describe the specific suspension geometry and damper location for different suspension configurations is appreciated.

This one?
Looks like a graphic created or adapted for the article to me. Google image search doesn't get much other than a few references to the same image used in other articles:0 -
If you're an engineer you should be able to understand how a system works by just a quick look at it, they're not rocket surgery.
Damping is a little more complex.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
If you read part 2 it gives a summary of the different designs by 'family'.

All uses of that image postdate the BR article, so I suspect it was created for the BR article and then plagiarised.
Only book I could find, damn pricey though!

I wrote the article originally for What Mountain Bike several years ago - since then it has been edited somewhat, with new authors adding bits in. It has been somewhat 'easy reader 'fied'. The tech department at the time constructed the graphics from theory given which I checked.
The above links as shown by Dirtydog 11 are good starting points.0
