Rims for 88 Bianchi Sport SX

I have a 56cm 88 Bianchi Sport SX.I recently took it to the bike shop to have it tuned and the guy working there told me after re-truing my rear wheel that its not going to last very long and it is going to break down the road. He said I should start looking into other rims. I currently have Araya 700c rims. Im looking to find something that I can replace them that isnt too expensive and some thing along the same quality as what I have. Im not looking at anything really modern looking because I dont want to ruin the integrity of the bicycle.
