Carbon frame repair (central Scotland)
I've been searching the forum for past posts re carbon frame repair, and the chat seems to be it's possible for some damage. So assuming the damage in the photos below falls into the repairable category, can anyone recommend a company within Central Scotland (West Lothian or Edinburgh) that could assess and quote? Thanks

Ok, so I can't work out how to paste a photo into a post :oops:0

Would also appreciate view as to whether that damage looks repairable, thanks0

I can't really tell from the photos but it looks like just the replaceable hanger is damaged. If so you can just buy a new hanger and bolt it on. What bike is this?0

Yes, hanger snapped but derailleur damaged the frame, chunk out of rear wheel drop out (is that the right term?) and crack in rear fork where chain has dug in. It's a ribble gran fondo, they say needs a new frame. Hanger and derailleur cheap and easy enough to replace but new frame expensive.0 -
Ah, OK then. Unfortunately I live in the US so can't recommend a good local CF shop but anything is repairable on a CF frame, only cost is the deciding factor. I would say there is a good chance that the repair will be much less than the cost of a new frame though.0

I am based in Scotland and I struggled to find someone who could repair my frame.
I ended up emailing carbonbikerepair.co.uk who provided me with rough quote over email and I got it packaged and sent to them for repair. Have to say they done a good job.

Not Scotland but Fibrelyte in Stockton on Tees are recommended. If anyone can fix it they can.0
