strange grub screw in bottom Bracket area

Just noticed 3 or 4 of these in the non drive side crank area

are they removable grub screws or grease ports or what??

Probably some form of retainer ring / bearing seal for the Specialized OS BB

So it's for preloading the bearings / eliminating play. 3 x 1.5mm hex head screws. Good luck with those after a couple of winters...
