Have I made bad decisions here?

So, basically.. to cut a long story short, I bought a Marin east-peak 2004 (shortly after buying, I realised the rear shock and front forks were destroyed). I have replaced the front forks with some new Rockshox XC32 air solo's

and the rear shock with a new fox float CTD 165mm

Baring in mind these items are brand new with 1 year warranties (I know I could have gone for second hand rebas or recons) but I thought these made better value sense, would you say I've invested well? Or would you have gone a completely different route? Will the suspension work well together? I would really appreciate advice from some of you guys as I have no real idea about biking components. Thanks!
