What in your opinion is the optimum tyre width fr dry, grassy CX courses

wider the better? 35mm (I doubt that at my standard I will be getting pulle dup by anyone from the UCI) or something thinner?

I know I should test, but I dont have much time

Most people just use 32mm intermediates (Grifo or similar) on grass. The jury's out on whether file treads are actually better in these conditions; unless you're planning to carry lots of wheel sets around, intermediates are a safer (and more versatile) bet.

Can't see any reason to go wider.
    Pannier, 120rpm.
  • I used my 29er on a dry course last year. Really really hard work on the grass sections. Merely ok in the forest bits. Would have been far better on 32's. Or less
