A cheap HRM can be had for less than a tenner and a cadence sensor is fairly optional for most people (although I do like mine as it ensures that I don't revert to grinding too much on long rides, which helps me save the legs). The 500 is still one of the best/straightforward GPS devices IMO, it just ticks the basic boxes and works...if one conveniently overlooks the rubbish and rudimentary routing that it tries (and fails) to do!0 -
Well it soon racks up! Had to kit the Mrs out as she has nothing and is starting to cycle from the park and ride instead of getting the bus. Few more shirts for me and a pants plus one of the performance tops, gt spay and the rechargeable lights ........ £250 quid later!0

I'm not convinced by their performance cycling stuff, it gets into the same kind of pricing as DHB and sales branded stuff which tends to be a bit better fitting (why does aldi insist on starting at medium?!)
might pop down the weekend and see whats left, the lights and some GT85 would be good!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

I bought one of their performance jackets last year and was quite impressed, although i did get it when it was reduced.
The fit is far better on the performance range than the normal range.
I don't use it that often, but when i have i have never had any complaints. Value wise it is good.0
