Rockshox Revelation RL or Marzocchi 320 LCR

Hi
This might a somewhat pedantic post, but here it goes anyway. I just purchased a new On-One Parkwood X9 with a Rockshox Revelation RL 120mm fork, but just after my order came through On-One changed specification for their Parkwood X9 so that it now feature a Marzocchi 320 LCR 120mm fork instead. My bike will not be built until next week and can't help thinking whether the deal with the Marzocchi 320 LCR fork or the Revelation fork is the better option or that it is a same-same-but different situation. I mean if the Marzocchi is much better I might be able to make them change the specs for my bike... The Marzocchi seems to be almost 200g lighter which is a real weight difference, but that is of course not all there is to a fork. Do anyone has something constructive to add to my headache?
Any inputs are appreciated
Thanks, Mads

As there seems to be something of a cloud over Marzocchi's future, I would prefer RS.

Zoccchi are currently in liquidation. Production will continue into 2016 as they look for a buyer.0

The Marzocchi is a much better fork. They have said spares will be available no matter what and the UK agent will still be responsible for honouring warranties.
Most of the service parts are just standard seals and bushes you can get from any bearing supplier.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
That's what they said...I don't do smileys.

And what they have to do under EU law. Their insurance will pay for it.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Ok, so there's a risk that spares won't available in a couple of years. But is it true that it is a much better fork? And if so in what way?0

They are both good forks - decent dampers. The Revelation gets the DNA internals which handles bigger bumps better than standard motion control.0

I had a Revelation RL. It wasn't good. Very crude damping and a very flexy chassis. It's barely any better than the old Motion Control Revs.
The Marzocchi damping is much better, less prone to blowing through travel. Normal service parts are no problem, all seals are just standard NSK seals. O rings are standard sizes and even bushes are standard parts.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Must have been something wrong with yours then, with a bottomless token or two and the LSC half way it has great mid range support. Can also tune the shims to alter the HSC and high speed rebound. Not just a hole in a piston.0

The compression damping is so crude that anything other than fully open made it harsh. I spoke to a suspension tuner who said that's just how they are, it could be modified to work but obviously there's no cure for a flexy chassis so I got rid of them.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
