Hi guys i could do with your help.
I am normally seen on the roads not the trails however i have registered for the sella ronda hero ride next june in the Dolomites and need to buy a new bike as a result
At the moment my budget isnt the biggest, around 500 EURO and i have a couple of options.
Firstly, the local bike shop is selling off their second hand Haibike edition 7.50. I have ridden these bikes and enjoyed the ride however i dont know much about MTB's. The price would be 300 euro, which seems like a steal and although its ex rental, it is in very good condition.
Another option would to be look into the rockrider range from decathlon. I know that there triban road range is extreamly good value so i assume this is also the case with their mtb??
Is it worth considering this or should i just buy the Haibike?
Also am i looking at the completely wrong bikes should i be going for a full sus?
The problem there in my eyes is i like climbing and being 5ft 10 and 61kg, the lighter the bike the better.
Many thanks everyone
George

I am not sure really to be honest so would be willing to follow advice, I have read your thread on here highlighting this exact question. I guess the 560 looks the best value however it always appears to be out of stock??
this is also not availabe anymore in my local store in italy.
perhaps the 540 or even the 520s (full suspension)??0 -
I've just looked up the Haibike 7.50 - that is a very good buy for 300E. The 560 is a better bike though, most notable the fork. The 520s is the best budget full susser on the market, but you will have a weight penalty and not quite as good parts.0

i will have a think but maybe the 560 is the way to go.
